京包铁路是我国主要的运煤通道，因运量大，负荷重，铁路转弯半径小，钢轨侧磨损严重。采用轮轨润滑技术后钢轨的侧磨损可降低2／3，钢轨消耗可降低25％。 Beijing-Baotou railway is China＇s major coal transporting channel. The side-wear of rail was severe because of large-transportation, heavy-duty and small turning radius of railway. The side-wear of rail could be reduced by 2/3 and the rail consumptions could be reduced by 25% by wheel-rail lubricating technology.
