Based on the broad application background,industrial development demand and research of threemotion parallel vibrating screen with low-inputs,it proposes an important concept of 'parallel mechanism with fewer inputs and more outputs',describes the correlations between the number of actuating input ( w) ,degrees of freedom ( dof) and dimensions of output position and orientation( Nout) of this kind of parallel mechanisms. It illustrates the application situation of three-motion parallel vibrating screen with single-input,shows the conceptual design of using two three-dimensional rotation parallel mechanisms with single-input with rehabilitation training robot of shoulder joint. Finally,it expects the research development of parallel mechanisms with fewer inputs and more outputs,instroduces important theoretical and practical value for novel equipment design for industrial development.基于广泛的产业应用背景、发展需求,以及作者研究少输入三维并联运动振动筛的工作基础,提出"少维输入-多维输出并联机构"的重要概念,并对该类并联机构的驱动输入数W、自由度数dof及其输出方位维数Nout三者关系进行了阐述;介绍了作者研制的单输入三维并联振动筛的研究与应用情况,以及新近提出的两个单输入三维转动并联机构用于人体肩关节康复训练机的概念设计;阐述了研究少维输入-多维输出并联机构的意义和前景。少维输入-多维输出并联机构可望成为并联机构研究的一个重要研究方向,对产业发展所需的新型装备设计,具有重要理论意义和实用价值。
